Races at Essex 2/9 and 2/10:

This Saturday and Sunday, February 9th and 10th, Rocky Mtn. Outfitter is sponsoring a weekend of nordic skiing and racing at the Izaak Walton Inn in Essex,Mt. Saturday evening there will be a freestyle sprint race on the lighted course. All competitors will race multiple laps. Registration starts at 5:30. Spaghetti Dinner to follow at 8:00. Sunday there will be 3k,7k,and 15k freestyle races. Registration is 8:30 to 9:30. 3k starts at 10:00 7k at 10:20 15k at 11:00. Chili feed and awards and prizes at 1:30. All races and trail passes plus spaghetti, chili, Sunday cont.breakfast and lodging in the Inn $55./person triple occupancy,$75./double occupancy. Sunday race and chili feed only $12.
