Basin Creek Rd, Basin, MT
Still skiing good-approx 12" packed base wide snowmobile track, only two rocky spots in 10 miles, both at the beginning. About one inch new dry snow on top this morning made for bomber skating. Should last for a while but punk around a bit depending on whether its hot, cold or snows. |

Blacktail XC trails
3"-5" cold, dry snow from Tuesday's storm.
All trails groomed for skate and classic.
Excellent hardwax classic skiing conditions.
Skate lanes should firm up nicely for weekend skiing.

Skied Bohart Ranch (just north of Bridger Bowl) yesterday. Unlike Missoula, it is still winter there. Excellent base, daily grooming. A+ conditions. |
