Equipment issues will prevent grooming in the Rattlesnake at this time. ckrueger |

The main trail was super icy, but side trails were fun this afternoon. |

More than ample snow for grooming. Is the club not grooming this year? Decent skier set tracks all the way to Fanklin I'm guessing.. really nice. |

An alternative for those who are interested in (ungroomed) skiing in the Rattlesnake is Sawmill Gulch. There is a big meadow which is less icy than the main trail, and it is possible follow trails to ski up into the hills either north or south. After you cross the creek on the way to the trailhead, continue straight rather than turning right into the trailhead. Avoid the private property signs and stay in the creek bottom. The road can be treacherous and is only recommended for 4 or all-wheel drive. |

Skiable. Hard ice underneath couple inches of new snow. No place for poles to grip, but it is possible! |
