Take a look at the Home page to get information on the Lolo to Lochsa event. There is no race day registration so sign up now. This is fundraiser for the MNSC and an amazing event. It is not often that you get the chance to do such a beautiful point to point course. The 35km course is located on US Forest Service land and follows snowmobile trails groomed for both classic and skate skiing. The tour starts at the Lolo Pass Visitors Center and proceeds down Pack Creek to Brushy Creek. The course then climbs 7km up Beaver Ridge before descending to the Lochsa River and 5km of rolling terrain leading to the Lochsa Lodge. There will be lots of fun on the course and afterwards. Check it out and support your club! |

Rattlesnake was groomed up to Pilcher Creek this morning. The new snow has helped and the tracks are generally quite good. Even with the snow we are down to ice in a few spots and the weather is getting warm. Enjoy while it lasts. Steve G |

Bring your ice skates. Wasn't too bad at the 5 mile mark, but you still need to navigate around the ice patches prior to that. overall, I'd give today a 4. 4"-6", to 8" inches of new snow would greatly improve conditions. Looking at the forecast, keep your fingers crossed for new snow, and hopefully colder conditions. |

We have great snow and conditions. If you are checking this website and skiing the trails, you know the value that membership in the club provides. We need you to join the club in order to provide the grooming and benefits you currently enjoy. It is easy to join, just click on the "Memberships" link at the top of this page for information about joining online or by mail. We could also use some additional volunteers, click on the "Home" tab at the top of this page and click on the "important roles" link near the bottom of the page to check it out. |

An attempt was made to groom in the Rattlesnake this morning. There is very little new snow and some ice/puddle areas. The first mile is ok and it gets better after 3 miles. |
