Welcome to the  MissoulaNordic Ski Club Website

 The Missoula Nordic Ski Club grooms the cross country ski trails at the Pattee Canyon Picnic Area, Lubrecht Forest, and the Rattlesnake Recreation Area.  Snow and grooming information for these and a number of other western Montana XC areas is available by clicking on the Snow Grooming tab above.  The club sponsors at least one race per year. 

The club will be hosting the second annual weekend at Lubrecht February 25-26th. The weekend will include great skiing, classic and skate clinics, 30 K Lubrecht Loppet Ski Race on Sunday (organized by John Weyhrich 543-6608) and a pot luck dinner Saturday night. The rooms are $75 for a double and $50 for a single plus 7% room tax. The Ozone Race will be held at the Seeley Lake trails on Feb. 19.  There will be 1.7K kids skate and classic races, and a pursuit race with the option to do only skate or only classic.

The Missoula Nordic Ski Club runs instructional clinics for both skate and classic techniques throughout the winter. The dates are shown below.  Clinics are free to all club members. All clinics will be held at the Lubrecht Ski Trails. Groups sizes are limited, and registration for clinics is open for the two weeks prior to the clinic date. Last Chance Nordic Ski Club grooms trails at MacDonald Pass.  They inform me that their trails will close early this year as the Forest Service will remove beetle-killed trees next to their trails.
