History of the Club
Founded in 1991, Missoula Nordic Ski Club is a volunteer-driven membership-based organization. Club operations include trail work, grooming, clinics, races, and youth programs. We spend over $20,000 per year to groom ski trails at Pattee Canyon, the Rattlesnake, Lubrecht Experimental Forest, and support partnerships at Lolo Pass.
Missoula Nordic Ski Club is is a Section 501(c)3 nonprofit and memberships and other donations that exclude the value of goods received may qualify as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes.

Current Officers
Four core positions of the Board of Directors (President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary) are all two-year terms that are voted in by membership during the annual fall meeting. Two positions are up for election each year and those serving in positions can be nominated and voted in to serve multiple terms. Other positions (Coordinators and Directors) are appointed by the core of the Board of Directors. The board works to manage grooming agreements, address grooming equipment needs, coordinate and execute grooming, secure funding for grooming, manage trails and signage, and provide communication and programming. We couldn’t make this happen without countless volunteer hours from the MNSC community.
