Skiing with Dogs

Most groomed nordic ski trails do not allow dogs on ski trails. This is true for the Northside and Southside trails at Pattee Canyon, as well as the Rattlesnake.  If you're looking to spend time skiing with your canine buddy, there are plenty of other places to do them – please respect the care, time and expense put into maintaining nordic ski trails to keep the trails in good condition.

The map below shows many of the great areas in Western Montana that allow dogs on winter trails. Click on one of the dog paw icons for more information about that trail. Note: not all dog-friendly trails are groomed for nordic skiing.
